Tapada Red is a historic wine produced for the first time in 1991. Since the beginning it was made with the predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon and remains so until today, becoming one of the icons of the variety in Portugal.
It originates from the Leonilde Vineyard, planted in 1982 in honor of D. Leonilde Silveira, for her dedication to the land, farm and region.
Powerful nose with black fruit notes involved in spices and tobacco. In the mouth, the intensity of freshness of Cabernet Sauvignon stands out, followed by the creamy texture of Alicante Bouschet, which leads to an elegant and persistent finish. - Producer
