Produced in the region of Fornos de Algodres by the famous Queijaria do Ilídio, in the Serra da Estrela region, Portugal. Cured cheese from sheep's milk of semi-soft pulp obtained by desorption after milk coagulation, and maturation process.
It is cylindrical, low, regular, with lateral bulging slightly in the upper and lower face, without defined edges, malleable, well formed, straw yellow uniform.
Semi-soft, buttery, homogeneous paste.
