Made from a selection of high quality wine brandies, Croft Velhíssima continues to age in old casks and oak casks of Croft Port wines, in the centenary cellars of the house in Vila Nova de Gaia. Here, the mild temperature throughout the year and the high hygrometry provide the perfect conditions for fine-tuning quality distillates. The long aging in the casks of the Croft Port wine confers the distinctive characteristics of great smoothness and complexity.
Aimed at connoisseurs and connoisseurs of rare high-quality brandies, Croft Velhíssima has a seductive mahogany color, a velvety and enveloping palate and very fine and complex aromas where notes of oak, walnuts and spices stand out.
Old Croft should be served as a digestif. We recommend that it be served in a balloon glass, between 16ºC and 18ºC. - Producer
