The arbutus trees from the surrounding villages of Serra da Estrela are primarily responsible for the quality of this premium spirit. After the handpicking harvest, the fruit is crushed and placed in fermentation. After the fermentation process, the arbutus is carefully distilled in traditional copper stills, obtaining a final product of superior quality. The quantity produced is inevitably limited. - Producer
