A Vintage is opaque, thick, intense red color, vigorous, jovial, sanguine, the force of nature at the Douro. Over the years they have become authentic wine "works of art". This rare 1923 is an example of this, it has a deep garnet color. Excellent nose with notes of plums and ripe red fruits. In the mouth it is rich, full bodied with notes of raisins, figs and plum. Rich and long finish.
