It is the cream of the Atlantic crystallized in clay salt plains, located in the National Park of Ria Formosa. With the interaction of the elements of nature, such as sea water, solar and wind energy, a thin film of crystals are formed that float on the rosy bed of the plains and from where they are taken daily (and up to twice a day) with utensils. After the picking, they are deposited in perforated boxes to dry and then packaged without any transformation, to ensure the product is 100% natural.
It is essential to maintain the proper functioning of the metabolism. It is produced 500 meters from Tavira Peer, in the middle of Formosa river.
